Following our busy show at Quilt Canada last week Eddycrest Sewing Furniture Adam, Silvia, Samuel, and I have stopped in Calgary for a few days to visit with family. We will be checking out some quilt shops, the mountains and doing a delivery. Today was a record high for Calgary on this June 8. Absolutely a beautiful start with hot air balloons over the house.
We made it driving just over 3500 km to Lethbridge.
This is our booth and we will be here until Saturday.
Day one we have met so many nice people from all over Canada and some from the U.S.
The weather here is sunny and warm. The University of Lethbridge is a beautiful campus and the local committee for CQA in the merchant mall have been awesome! They helped us unload and move everything in and even helped Adam and I with installing the heavy display wall!
We have 2 more days here for the show then off to Calgary to see family before the next quilt show in Edmonton next weekend.
Another Farmers Wife quilt ready for quilting! This one was done by Marie,I like what she did with the borders. I'm thinking we will need to do a quilt show to feature all the completed quilts. They are so unique with all the different fabrics and settings!
Great day, finally hung our barn quilt! Thanks for a little help from Bill Hamilton from A. f. Hamilton Crane, (Sarah's Dad), and of course Adam and John. This was my 10th Anniversay surprise from the guys!
